Q: Can I install ValueGain on more than one computer?
A: The ValueGain License Agreement allows for the installation of your Software onto a maximum of 2 computers, under a single concurrent license for the use of the registered client only.
This is to allow the registered client to use the software regardless if they are at home or away from home.

For Example:
A client may install their software on their home computer and their work computer.
A client may install their software on their home desktop computer and a laptop

Q: Will ValueGain run on an Apple™ Computer. such as an iMac™ or iBook™?
A: ValueGain is not designed to operate on a non-Windows/PC Operating System such as Mac OS. It is possible to operate ValueGain on a Mac Operating System using programs such as PC Emulator, but this configuation is not recommended by Hubb.
Should clients experience issues with ValueGain running on a Mac OS, Hubb Technical Support will support the product on a 'best effort' basis, but as the product is not designed to run on this platform, Hubb cannot guarantee resolution.

Q: PC Requirement
A: ValueGain requires the following minimum system specifications to run effectively:

  • IBM PC or compatible, running Windows NT, 2000 or XP
  • Pill Processor or equivalent (P4 recommended)
  • 256MB RAM
  • 4 GB free space on hard drive
  • CD-ROM reader
  • 56K modem (cable or ADSL recommended)
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
  • Screen resolution 1024 x 768 or greater (recommended)

Q:Which Markets can I get fundamental data from?
A:Currently ValueGain provides fundamental data for the US and Australian exchanges, however we will continue to add new markets to this list in the near future.

Q:Do you have any online training tutorials for ValueGain?
A:Yes! We now have the first of our online training modules live on the ValueGain website.

Q:How are ValueGain's the Precomputed Scans Calculated?
A:The ValueGain Precomputed Scans are listed for each Fundamental Expert.

The list will contain all stocks that achieved the Expert's score of 75% or greater, or the top 10 - some of which may have scores of less than 75%.

Each Experts Criteria used in their respective Precomputed scans can be viewed in the Experts Analysis screen.

Q:How is the Brokers Recommendations result calculated?

A:The Brokers Recommendation is the investment bank broker consensus opinion for the stock supplied by a third party financial data provider.

The reported range is displayed as Sell, Underperform, Hold, Buy or Strong Buy on the graphic display, the consensus opinion is indicated by the blue

 

Note - The Brokers' Recommendations is not directly related to the results generated by ValueGain's precomputed scans, but rather provides an independent benchmark to which those results can be broadly compared.
